As one may imagine, I have been checking my Progenesis portal daily since last week waiting to see if there are any updates. As luck would have it, while I was napping after work, the embryologist from our clinic called to provide PGT-A results. I took the call.

We have one, chromosomal and genetically healthy embryo. From my understanding, one embryo had two chromosome issues which would not be viable if transferred and the other embryo was missing a section on chromosome 8 which if implanted would have birth defects and additional health concerns.

I inquired about the grade/rating of the one euploid embryo. The embryologist stated it is rated very good. I asked if they knew if it was our day 5 or a day 7 embryo. It is one of the day 7 embryos.

I surprised myself as I am at peace with this news. I feel it came at the right time, as tomorrow I have a SIS to see if my uterus is ready to start for FET. I sent a message to Progenesis customer support as my portal never updated throughout this time and I would like a copy of the test results for my records. Hopefully, more positive news to come tomorrow including a copy of the report.
