Today has already been exhausting and the days not even half way over. Both B and I had mandatory obligations today. Unfortunately, we found out after the fact that I was obliged to be with B though that was never communicated. Since I had an appointment today I was requested to provide medical documentation to support why I wasn’t present with B.

Any who, traffic was a nightmare this morning and it took me two hours to get to the clinic so I was late by 15 minutes. I called ahead to let them know I was stuck in traffic. I saw one of the NPs today and she asked how I was doing. I told her I was over the shots and tired of bruising. She took a look at my belly and said do the shots at least two inches away from your belly button in each direction. She noted it will also hurt less. Thankfully, the injections don’t really hurt but I’ll give it a try.

The NP was noting some 11mms, a 14mm and a 21mm. Again to me that doesn’t seem like growth that seems like only one is growing. She mentioned that I will end up losing the 21mm to let the other follicles grow. On the right three follicles are growing but mainly smaller 11mm-14mm. The left has been my dominant side throughout this whole process. I have a 21mm on that side and three follicles between 14mm-16mm. Sounds like I will need to return on Wednesday for a check in and labs. Estimated retrieval from the beginning was Friday so I’d say we’re on track.

I’m still a little frustrated that last cycle I had 15-17 follicles growing and looking great for only seven follicles growing now with only six even maybe being an option. Realistically that means maybe 3-5 eggs if everything goes smoothly the rest of this cycle. Now to wait for labs to return and continue to press forward.
